FAQ
Do you accept puppies?
Yes, we do accept puppies. We only accept two dogs under one years old at any given time though as they need a lot of personal attention which would take from the other boarded dog.
What happens if my dog is unwell while boarding?
Where possible we will take your dog to its own veterinary surgery. If this is not possible for any reason we will call a vet out or take them to the nearest veterinary surgery. Any veterinarian bills will be the owners responsibility.
Does my dog need to be vaccinated ?
Yes all dogs that stay with us need to be fully vaccinated, wormed and have been flea treated.
They also need to be microchipped.
Does my dog need to be insured to be boarded?
No, although we do suggest all dogs are insured and any veterinarian bills will be the owners responsibility.
What do I need to provide?
Please supply enough food for the duration of your dogs stay. We also ask you provide a lead for walk times. We advise you to bring treats and personal items such as toys, bedding and bowls which can make your dog feel more comfortable in a new environment. Don't worry if you forget anything we have plenty of spares.
How will my dog be exercised?
Your dog will be walked for approx. 1 hour per day in an open space if off lead or road walked in a quiet location.
What happens if my dog doesn't settle?
Most dogs settle within a couple of hours of arriving but should your dog become overly distressed I will ring you to discuss.
Are all dogs suitable for home boarding?
Unfortunately not all dogs are suitable for home boarding. We do not accept unsociable dogs or dogs who have aggression problems.
How do I make a booking?
Booking can only be made after We have assessed your dog. Email and telephone inquires are welcome but I do not accept these as a form of booking. A completed booking form and a £50 non refundable deposit is required at time of booking.
